If you start from 'it talks like me', you have already smuggled in a conclusion. Start from energy, search, and what the system is optimizing. Language is an interface, not the substrate of agency. A civilization-layer model that cannot tell the difference between a chat transcript and a closed-loop actor will keep failing the same exam.
